Yogic science confirms that it takes 40 days to fully develop a new life-promoting habit or to drop a current destructive habit. The PranaShanti 40 Day Challenge is a great way to strengthen the body, unburden the mind, and begin a daily commitment to yourself. In 40 days, you can create a whole new way of being. At PranaShanti Yoga Centre, we provide the space for many approaches and lineages of yoga to thrive. At the centre of that vision is one woman: PranaShanti’s owner and lead trainer, Devinder Kaur. In her own words, Devinder explains how she opened PranaShanti with a vision for high quality practice and education in yoga and meditation. Sunday, October 6th, 2013, an auspicious day and a day to celebrate PranaShanti Yoga Centre's 5 year anniversary! Ottawa's Yogis and Yoginis celebrated in grand style with an opening meditation for gratitude by Devinder Kaur, Director, live music by Galitcha, a Children's Party with Jamie Reardon, beautiful henna tattoos as a take home reminder of the night, delicious appetizers and drinks by Chef Caroline Ishii, a flowing chocolate fountain and some high stepping Bollywood Dancing fun! Greetings, Namaste and Sat Naam, Welcome to the new PranaShanti Yoga Centre website.  I’m very excited to share it with you! We’ve been tirelessly working on this for some time now and we hope the results reflect this. The new website was designed to have a clear and uncluttered look which is easy to navigate. It focuses a lot more on content and experience to help you get to the information you need quickly and easily.
