The spring equinox is a sacred moment to celebrate the harmonious balance between light and dark. It marks a transition of letting go of winter's end and welcoming a season of renewal and growth. It's a time to embrace our awakening, turning our focus outwards as nature reawakens all around us.
Our evening, in the glow of soft candle lighting, includes yin yoga, a sound bath with gongs, crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls and other sound healing instruments. The perfect ambience and soundscape to reflect on how we are experiencing this time in the ever-changing seasonal cycles.

In this training, you’ll apply an alignment-based approach to intelligent and creative class that is grounded in applied anatomy and sound biomechanical principles. By applying this methodology, you will learn to guide your students through poses with a keen focus on correct alignment, facilitating enhanced benefits and a reduced risk of injury. How to effectively teach mixed level sequences that benefit everyone in class
You’ll receive a manual that includes sequencing templates for full-spectrum classes as well as postural categories including backbends, hip openers/twists/seated poses, arm balances/inversions, and restorative yoga. You’ll also practice energetic, elemental, and theme-based approaches to sequencing.
You can expect an interactive combination of lecture, individual exercises, small group work, and practice building and teaching pose sequences.

Sound healing uses a variety of instruments, including crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, soft drumming, chimes and other acoustic instruments to create a relaxing soundscape where your body falls into a state of deep rest and, thus, your mind quiets down substantially. Several gentle and supportive yoga postures are woven through the experience to further relax the body and calm the nervous system.
Come to this 90 minute sound healing session ready to be guided into deep rest and rejuvenation. Wear comfortable clothing and bring along a shawl or blanket.
Cost: $45.00 per person.
Note: Please bring your yoga mat and any additional props you require to rest comfortably. We are providing bolsters, blocks, and blankets. You may like to bring an eye pillow and meditation cushion.

The full moon is a special time, especially for those who are following a yogic path, because it is an optimum time for clearing and balancing our mind and our energy.
The moon is deeply and intimately connected with our mind and our thoughts. Yoga, meditation and sound can help to cleanse feelings of agitation, and can even provide us with a great opportunity to let go of the mental or emotional baggage that has been weighing us down.
Practicing at the full moon also help us to unleash our creativity, whether we are focused on specific creative projects or we need new ways of thinking about the problems and issues we are facing. This practice can help us to release old, stuck, energy that no longer supports us.
During the class, we will clear our mind and balance our body’s chakras (energy centers) through a variety of yoga practices including postures (asana), breath work (pranayam), meditation, savasana (relaxation) and sound.
