    Join us for an inner staycation to search for calm, resilience and peace. Instead of focusing on what is not accessible, turn the focus around during this time that is very conducive to self inquiry and meditation. Join in for one or all three of these workshops to learn about peace of mind, what gets in the way and how to sustain it!

    Each session begins with a yoga practice, followed by a short meditation and conclude with a discussion on the topic. Have a mat, some writing material and even a cup of tea for the conclusion.

    Session 1 - Monday, April 12, 2021 - 7 pm to 9 pm:

    How do we get closer to happiness/enlightenment? A look at the mantra Om Sutra 27.

    Om is the direct phone number to inner peace. We will explore how to dial it, what is its meaning and what is inner peace.

    Session 2 - Monday, April 19, 2021 - 7 pm to 9 pm:

    What gets in the way? How do we start working on it? Ch1 Sutras 31-32.

    The raja yoga sutras discusses specific obstacles on our search for inner peace or a happier life. Let's explore what they are and how to overcome or eliminate them.

    Session 3 - Monday, April 26, 2021 - 7 pm to 9 pm:

    Continuing the work, techniques to clear and steady the mind Ch1 Sutras 33 - 39.

    As we are all different on the outside and changing over time, there are several further techniques we can learn and practice to help find what we are looking for.

    Join us to learn more and explore asanas from the inside out!
     
    Our Asana Labs are mini courses where we unpack and rebuild asanas to help you understand the physical side of your practice. Learn with an anatomy informed approach that honors individual difference.

    Wednesdays, 6:30 pm to 9 pm:
     
    • Session #1 - January 20, 2021: Standing Closed Hip Asanas - Live Stream
    • Session #2 - February 17, 2021: Standing Open Hip Asanas - Live Stream
    • Session #3 - March 24, 2021: Standing Balancing Asanas - Live Stream
    • Session #4 - April 21, 2021: Back Bending Asanas - Live Stream
    • Session #5 - May 19, 2021: Hand and Shoulder Asanas
     
    Each session breaks down the asanas to cover the muscles, join actions (flexion/extension, etc), range of motion and modifications pertinent to each grouping of asanas. Included is time to experiment with the asanas by exploring different ways to get in and out of them, trying different cues, and investigating the ranges of motion for each person.
     
    Attend individual sessions or sign up for the full 5 session series.
     
    Cost: $120.00 per person per session.

    All welcome from the beginner to the seasoned Teacher.  There is something for everyone!

    Reiki promotes relaxation and inner peace, cultivating harmony in body, mind, and spirit. It is common to feel an emotional release allowing positive energy to flow, enhancing your ability to attract your desires.
     
    Each participant will receive Reiki distant healing energy from Pam during the course of the workshop.

    The full moon is a special time, especially for those who are following a yogic path, because it is an optimum time for clearing and balancing our mind and our energy.

    The moon is deeply and intimately connected with our mind and our thoughts. Meditation can help to cleanse feelings of agitation, and can even provide us with a great opportunity to let go of the mental or emotional baggage that has been weighing us down.

    Meditating at the full moon also help us to unleash our creativity, whether we are focused on specific creative projects or we need new ways of thinking about the problems and issues we are facing. This practice can help us to release old, stuck, energy that no longer serves us.

    During the class, we will clear our mind and balance our body’s chakras (energy centers) through a variety of Kundalini Yoga practices including breath work (pranayam), meditation, and a yoga nidra savasana (relaxation).

    Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a type of meditation based on the ancient yogic anatomy of the Koshas, the 5 subtle bodies. Sometimes described as a long savasana, it is actually a combination of deep body relaxation and mental awareness.
     
    Yoga Nidra is a quiet journey inward to stillness that transforms and releases old habits, fatigue, worry, and stress. Yoga Nidra is a technique for physical rejuvenation, mental relaxation, spiritual growth, and overall wellness.
     
    Course Overview
     
    This training is for those who would like to offer students the opportunity to experience a systematic method of conscious relaxation. Yoga Nidra has been found to be effective in treating many of the physical symptoms of stress, including insomnia, anxiety, and depression. It is also helpful in the treatment of PTSD and addictions.
     
    During our weekend together, we will:
     
    • Explore the science, philosophy and practice of Yoga Nidra.
    • Gain a solid understanding of how this practice can assist different populations.
    • Learn how to practically present Yoga Nidra sessions in both group and individualized settings.

    Breaks will be provided. A reading list will be provided in advance of the start date of the training and contains required reading for the training.

    Fee includes the training, manual, certificate and access to additional resources including Yoga Nidra scripts and research information.

    A recording of the training is available until 7 days after the training ends.
     
    This 15 hour training prepares and certifies you to teach a 1-hour introductory Yoga Nidra workshop and lead individual or group Yoga Nidra classes.
     
    This course is open to general public. 6 months to 1 year of regular yoga and/or meditation practice is recommended for participation.
     
    For 200 hour certified Yoga Teachers this course provides CEUs with Yoga Alliance.

    Drawing from the infinite supply of universal healing energy, with intention, Pam believes we all have the power to increase our vibration as well as that of others. Star Reiki encompasses the traditional USUI Reiki lineage, and is inclusive to all forms of connecting and harnessing the power of Oneness.
     
    The Star Reiki Level 2 Training includes an overview of the traditional Reiki symbols and explores Intention, to more powerfully heal yourself and others and allow you to connect remotely, transcending space and time.
     
    You will receive a unique Star Reiki Level 2 Attunement incorporating relaxing yoga. A sense of deep healing and/or release may be experienced.
     
    At the end of the training, you will be a certifed Reiki Level 2 Practitioner with the ability to use your hands to heal others in person and via distance healing.
