As announced this week by Premier Ford - In Person Classes resume TODAY! We’re excited to welcome everyone back to class! We’re keeping it safe and cozy in our 45 Eccles Street space while our 950 Gladstone Ave. Centre is being renovated. Our Online live stream and In Person classes are 7 days a week with 45+ classes for you to choose from. In Person attendance is a maximum of 6 participants with ample social distancing. Here are our In Person Class procedures at 45 Eccles Street: Pre-registration for classes is required. When you arrive you will be asked a series of health check questions by our Front Desk Staff.Leave your footwear in the entrance and you will then be directed to hand sanitizer and our designated mat spaces that are spaced for ample social distancing.All props (blocks, vinyl bolsters, blankets and cushions) provided have been sanitized. Where is our new hOMe? Many have been wondering. We've had tonnes of emails and social media questions about it and I've even heard there was a bet or 2 going! Drum roll please... Our new location is 950 Gladstone Avenue! We are thrilled and trust you will love it too! The location is central, close to the newest LRT, has free 3 hour street parking and designated parking for our use. We are easy walking distance to the restaurants on Preston Street and the shops and cafes we adore on Wellington Street. Our new hOMe was built in the late 1800's as a wholesale hardware warehouse. Built on a timber frame with post and beam construction, it is one of the only buildings of its kind remaining in Ottawa. We will have 3 studio rooms; Body, Mind and Soul. Community connection has and will always be an important part of PranaShanti Yoga Centre's vision and mission.  With the government mandated temporary closure of PranaShanti Yoga Centre on March 17, we quickly pivoted and on March 19 launched FREE Online Classes as our way to be of service to the community when so many faced uncertainty from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have now offered 1 month of FREE Online Yoga that has reached hundreds of people around the world everyday.  We’ve had participants from as far as Egypt, New Zealand, Australia, Roatan, Bali, the UK, France, Italy, Germany, all across Canada and the US!  We've received daily email and social media posts on how the yoga classes are a vital support to so many in this challenge time.  While the classes over this past month have been free of charge, we have continued to pay the teachers.  We are deeply grateful for the support that so many have...

People sometimes ask: “am I signing up for talk therapy?” or “is this physiotherapy?” – no, Therapeutic Yoga classes do not incorporate talk therapy or physiotherapy.
