But there’s hope! Research shows that introducing children to Yoga and Mindfulness can have a profound impact on their mental health and overall happiness.  These practices help alleviate stress, anxiety, and depression while improving concentration, self-esteem, and empathy.

This course is designed to equip parents, caregivers, educators, and anyone working with children with the tools and techniques to bring Yoga and Mindfulness into children’s lives in a fun and engaging way!

Program Outline

  • Strategies for sharing these practices with different age groups.
  • Fun and creative activities, games, and relaxation techniques.
  • Easy-to-implement Mindfulness exercises for home and the classroom.
  • Tips for creating and presenting a child-friendly yoga class.
  • Ways to integrate Yoga and Mindfulness into the community.

This course is open to the general public. 6 months to 1 year of regular yoga practice is recommended for participation.

For 200 hour certified Yoga Teachers this course provides CEUs with Yoga Alliance. This course is also part of our Yoga Alliance 300 Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training.

300 Hour Elective Module: 6 Hours
