If given the opportunity, I would love to be an assistant in this summer’s 200h Yoga Teacher Training. It is my deepest desire to help create a profoundly nourishing environment where future Yoga teachers can take their first steps onto a path of inspiration and knowledge.

Namaste Thuy, thank you for your comment. For the Teaching Assistant program you do need to be a 200 Hour trained Yoga Teacher and located an easy commute distance to our location.

I would be interested but I’m not available one of the weekends. Is there any flexibility on this?

Thank you Catherine for your interest. We require the Teaching Team Lead and the Teaching Assistants to be present for all of the training weekends. It provides consistency to the students for the best possible training experience. Be well, Devinder

Hi Devinder, I took the teacher training a few years ago and I have not had any experience teaching yet. Would you recommend me getting a year of experience first? I am a bit shy and not too sure how to break through this shyness. I was hoping that in assisting in the teacher training I would gain this confidence. If you recommend a years experience, where would you recommend for a shy gal to start? Thanks so much Devinder.

    Kindest regards,
    Melanie Matheson

Hello Melanie, thank you so much for the question and comments. For the Teacher Assistant Program we recommend having 1 year of teaching experience as the TAs will be leading small segments and contributing to small group and full group conversations on a variety of topics including teaching experiences. So, having some teaching experience is helpful. I am working on another aspect for this year’s fall training which I think will be supportive to providing you with more experience. I’ll send you the details by email. Be well, Devinder
