Elevate your restorative yoga practice and expand your knowledge of restorative yoga with Anne Wanda Tessier (E-RYT 500) in this upcoming training for experienced restorative yoga teachers.

We will review popular restorative yoga poses and explore many new ones which require the use of new props, chairs and the wall.

This training is a great addition to the Foundational Restorative Yoga Training as many new poses will be explored. Learn how to safely support all body shapes in poses such as inversions, backbends, hero pose and several variations of savasana.

You will also learn new themes that can be incorporated in your yoga classes, explore the therapeutic benefits of this practice and how this practice can help sooth emotions and balance dosa types. Expand and diversify your repertoire of restorative yoga poses and dive deeper in the physiology of relaxation and the importance of rest.

Overview

In this 20-hour training, we will have the opportunity to practice restorative yoga poses and explore how to use props to fully support the body, including variations and alternatives depending on injuries or other health conditions. We will explore how to safely support the body in inversions and backbends as well as how to modify or offer alternatives for various poses. We will learn how restorative yoga can help restore balance in our lives and how this practice can help to reduce stress, anxiety, anger and depression.
