  • Understand the relevance of the Eight Limbs of Yoga in modern life and behavior. 
  • Explore the four Vedic goals and their relation to your daily life.
  • Discover your dosha or constitution through the elements and qualities of Ayurveda. 
  • Learn to bring balance to your life using the tri-doshic theory.

Course Outline

  • Explore the role of diet, nutrition, and digestion in Ayurveda.
  • Discover how toxins (Ama) are formed in the body and how to support an Ama-free body.
  • Learn to support your body’s detoxification process and maintain vitality.
  • Uncover the healing qualities of spices and foods through Ayurvedic tastes.
  • Study the constitutions (prakurti) and states of imbalance (vikruti) to tap into a higher level of self-awareness.
  • Practice specific pranayama and yoga postures for the different constitutions.
  • Integrate Ayurveda, Yoga, and modern science principles for holistic well-being.

This course is open to the general public. 6 months to 1 year of regular yoga practice is recommended for participation.

For 200 Hour certified Yoga Teachers this course provides CEUs with Yoga Alliance. This course is also part of our Yoga Alliance 300 Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training.
