For ALL Yoga Teachers and Students!
Sanskrit is a classical language of India. It literally means “perfection”. It is the language of ancient sages and Sanskrit words are used as mantras, as their sounds when properly pronounced are suiting and transformative.
This introductory course aims to familiarize students with some basic concepts of Sanskrit which will help them in their study of sacred essential texts.

Sanskrit is a phonetical language; since the words are pronounced according to their spellings it makes them easy to read and pronounce.

The knowledge of Sanskrit is very helpful for anyone who is interested in exploring the original texts relating to the Indian traditional knowledge systems.

The Sanskrit sounds are meditative. To read, write or sing in Sanskrit is an ancient practice to help us awaken to our essential nature.

No prior knowledge of Sanskrit is required to take the course.
