What is a private Yoga Nidra session?
Often called the “yogic sleep”, Yoga Nidra is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. More than just a simple relaxation, in Yoga Nidra the teacher will guide the body to relaxation with your awareness awake so you can tap into your individual healing energies and abilities.
It is expanded awareness in a state of deep relaxation. Everyone has within them infinite potential. Yoga Nidra is the process of taking charge of what we are creating; using your potential to manifest.
Tips to experience a Yoga Nidra session fully:
- Take care to eat sensibly at least one hour before.
- It is important to be hydrated but remember to go to the bathroom prior to settling into the Yoga Nidra session – you will be not moving for up to 60 minutes.
- Dress comfortably.
