Max Strom – Tedx Talks

Technology has expanded at such a rate that nearly every aspect of our world has been affected — yet there has been no corresponding expansion of personal happiness. We are depressed, anxious, sleep-deprived and overmedicated. This talk explores the innate technology within us — the “apps” of our mind, body and emotional center that contain the inner-knowledge that can empower the most meaningful areas of our lives.

Learn to Breathe: Heal Yourself and Your Relationships

Friday, January 15, 2016 – 6:00 – 8:00 pm

How does the way we breathe affect our stress level, quality of sleep, depression, and even our relationships? This two hour seminar combining lecture with yoga practice will explore how breath penetrates, breath invigorates, and breath heals.

Following the lecture on the transformative power of a conscious breath practice, followed by a simple but profound practice of breathing exercises and gentle movement. The effect of these done in sequence can lead to profound release and calm. Other benefits may include increased energy and mental clarity.
