Karen is a Kundalini Yoga Teacher with 200-hour certification and is working towards her 500-hour certification. Karen has practiced several types of yoga for many years enjoying the benefits of flexibility, muscle relaxation, and stress relief. Her meditation practice has evolved over a period of 20 years from personal self-led, to facilitator-led silent meditations, and, in the past 2 years, to a whole new level with Kundalini Yoga.

Karen’s first Kundalini Yoga class at PranaShanti resonated so much on a holistic level (mind, body, and soul), leading Karen to sign up for the Kundalini Yoga teaching program at PranaShanti.

As a woman, a mother, a partner, a professional Project Manager, and a volunteer in the not-for-profit sector, Karen understands how self-awareness can greatly help navigate through life’s challenges with authenticity, integrity, and with perspective.  Karen’s goal, as a Kundalini Yoga teacher, is to help others learn how to achieve self-awareness.
