Conscious communication is the creation of instantaneous resonance with the other person that simultaneously acknowledges them and their reality, and expresses ourselves. Our words communicate, and yet they are surrounded by a host of energies that also communicate. Our gestures and tones communicate. Our presence communicates. Our aura communicates.

Each one possesses the potential of a newly planted seed. In this transformational Kundalini Yoga Level 2 teacher training, we will explore the following themes of Conscious Communication:

Introduction to Sanskrit: The Sacred Language of Yoga

The Sanskrit language has a power like no other. Each word creates a specific vibration in the mind which is the essence of that word. Using Sanskrit terms in your class will resonate directly with the students on a level that is beyond the physical senses. Incorporating Sanskrit into your classes can be as simple as adding the names of a few postures to exploring philosophy with several terms.

In this course you will gain familiarity with the Sanskrit language through study of common words, pronunciations and common mispronunciations. Learn how to use potentially unfamiliar words with grace and smoothness to help students gain further understanding of the practice. We will explore the alphabet, its design and how it is written in the roman alphabet. Like this it will be easier to create the proper pronunciation as you read words and texts in transliterated Sanskrit.

The course will explore how to incorporate Sanskrit words into the theme of your class. This allows students to learn more words and also concepts that can deepen their practice. For example, how to use ahimsa or viveka as a theme that can carry through a class. Sanskrit Mantras: Om and beyond. We will learn several mantras, their meanings, stories and how to incorporate them into a class.

For Yoga Teachers, Teacher Trainees, and Dedicated Practitioners

Take your understanding of yoga props far beyond basic support and modification.

This training explores the intelligent and intentional use of props as powerful teaching tools that enhance alignment, refine proprioception, deepen embodiment, and create transformative experiences for every body.

Rather than simply making poses easier, you'll discover how props can reveal hidden movement patterns, awaken underused areas of the body, improve functional stability, and support the subtle energetic body. Through thoughtful exploration, you'll learn when to use props, when not to use them, and how to integrate them skillfully into both therapeutic and dynamic classes.

Together we'll investigate sophisticated applications of blocks, blankets, bolsters, straps, chairs, walls, sandbags, and other supportive tools to create practices that are accessible, intelligent, and profoundly effective.

Whether you teach group classes, work one-on-one, or simply wish to deepen your own practice, this course will expand your teaching vocabulary and elevate the way you think about movement, alignment, and the purpose of props.

Props are not crutches—they are teachers. They invite awareness, cultivate sensitivity, and create opportunities for every practitioner to experience yoga with greater intelligence, confidence, and ease.

Come discover how to teach—and practice—with greater precision, creativity, and depth.
