Anathèle’s yoga journey began in 2010 when she was looking for ways to cultivate greater balance and well-being in her life. What started as a physical practice soon became much more, offering tools for self-awareness, resilience, healing, and connection. Through the years, yoga has remained a steady source of support through both life’s joys and challenges.

In 2019, Anathèle completed her 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training at PranaShanti Yoga Centre. Since then, she has continued her studies in Power Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga, Corporate Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga, and Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga, and has completed her 300-hour advanced teacher training. She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200) and a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP).

Anathèle is an occupational therapist, psychotherapist, and lifelong learner. Her professional work has deepened her appreciation for the connection between mind and body, and for the importance of creating spaces where people can feel supported, grounded, and empowered. She enjoys exploring the ways that modern understandings of mental health, resilience, and well-being intersect with the ancient wisdom of yoga.

In her classes, Anathèle strives to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where students can explore movement, breath, and mindfulness at their own pace. Whether students are seeking challenge, restoration, stress relief, or deeper self-connection, her hope is that they leave class feeling more grounded, balanced, and at home within themselves.

When she is not teaching or meeting with clients, Anathèle can often be found reading about topics ranging from anthropology, philosophy, psychology, and social justice, exploring new cuisines and rooftop patios with friends, getting on her paddleboard in the middle of a quiet lake, travelling and discovering different cultures, or enjoying a leisurely walk through the forest. She also loves creative pursuits such as crochet and bead jewellery making, and never says no to a lovely cup of tea while unwinding with a favourite series.
