If you crave balance in your busy life, you might just discover some in Jane’s classes through a continued focus on awareness of your body, mind and spirit. She will invite you to dwell in the present moment in your practice by asking you to always be mindful and accepting of where you are as you travel your personal journey and experience all yoga has to offer on every level. Jane will challenge you to take this awareness off the mat into all aspects of your life. Often closing class with a poem or reading to integrate into your calm and grounded state to end savasana, she believes deeply in the healing strength of mindfulness and meditation.

Jane is a recently retired high school visual arts teacher and arts consultant. She completed the 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 2012 at PranaShanti. She has studied Yin yoga with Joe Barnett; anatomy classes with Ray Long and most recently completed Jill Miller’s 70 hour Yoga Tune Up® training certification.  She is also certified as a .b Mindfulness trainer for teenagers.
