One of the things Melissa loves about Yoga is that it can be practiced anywhere, anytime and by anyone; regardless of body type, age or mobility. Many of us feel that we can’t, aren’t able, haven’t…., etc. But Yoga is not about flexibility or getting into that funky pose. It’s about being in the moment and using our breath to create balance and awareness in ourselves.

Melissa began to practice Yoga in 2004 and fell in love with it immediately. Constantly amazed at all the benefits it has to offer, her passion led her to want to share Yoga with others. In 2009, she completed an intensive Hatha Yoga Teacher Certification as well as Radiant Child Yoga. She continues to study by taking courses and workshops such as Yin, Restorative, Therapeutic Yoga, Prenatal & Yoga for Birthing.

She feels fortunate to teach several styles of Yoga including Hatha beginner and intermediate, Hot, Flow, Yin/Yang, Restorative, Children and Teens, Prenatal, Parent/Baby, Partner Yoga, and her very own Bliss Yoga. She is proud to have completed her Certification in Yoga Therapy and is now studying to become a Childbirth Educator!
