Sangeeta Raju is a graduate of the Pranashanti 200 Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher training program.
She is also a practitioner of a Classical Indian dance form known as Odissi. For her, classical dance is a means of imparting philosophical ideas emerging from the South Asia continent. Sangeeta explores knowledge of the shared lineage between yoga, as we know it in the West, and the performing arts of India. While her artistic and somatic practice is rooted in South Asian arts, she is enthusiastic about learning from traditions around the globe.
Her classes will feature elements of play and self-exploration to an eclectic playlist of world music. Her hope is that students will leave her class feeling refreshed, connected, and curious.
