Infrared Sauna

Infrared sauna is the safer sauna alternative as it’s a gradual, lower temperature than conventional saunas, and operates on a radiant heat source that helps the body produce two to three times more sweat. It’s a soothing, healthful treatment that supports a supple body and calm mindset. Radiant heat is beneficial to the immune system, metabolism, easing joint pain, weight management, and skin health.

Appointments include time before and after your sauna to prepare for your 30 minute sit in the sauna, as well as a private shower in the sauna room for your use.

Cost: $30 / 30 minutes. $135 / Five 30 minute sessions. $260 / Ten 30 minute sessions. $38.50 / 30 minute session + 1 drop in yoga class.

Massage and Energy Healing

Massages with our talented RMTs are a peaceful and practical blend of targeted and relaxing bodywork. All RMT treatments include a detailed assessment and receipts for insurance purposes.

Services with Ann-Marie, Stacey and Christine:

Deep Tissues/Sports Massage – A highly therapeutic massage that works on the deeper layers of tension. Combined with Swedish techniques, focused massage is applied to deeper muscle and connective tissue to relieve chronic pain and tension. Ideal for those who have specific concerns, high stress levels, and athletes.

Swedish Massage – A longstanding successful technique focused on manipulation of soft tissue-muscle, ligaments, tendons, connective tissue and joint capsules. Ideal for relaxing tense muscle, easing stress and tension, pain, and improving sleep.

Lomi Lomi Massage – A traditional Hawaiian style massage that combines the use of breath (ha), and energy (mana) with a long massage strokes to release areas of tension in the body. Lomi Lomi improves physical and athletic performance through the rhythmic application of thumbs, knuckles, forearms and elbows. It is the “dance of massage”!

Pregnancy Massage – Specialized body positioning techniques will ensure maximum comfort. Pregnancy massage is used to improve circulation, and alleviate backaches, legs cramps, and swelling that often accompany pregnancy.

Cranial Sacral Therapy – is a gentle, hands-on method for enhancing the functioning of the cranial sacral system, which is made up of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch, tension of the bones in the skull, spine, and pelvis is released to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. It is used to treat chronic pain, motor-coordination impairments, chronic fatigue, and emotional difficulties.

Body Scrub – A decadent full body exfoliation to stimulate blood circulation and invigorate your skin, complete with a full body massage with rich oil leaving you with silky smooth skin.

Thai Yoga Massage -  Is a unique healing system where the practitioner guides the client through a series of yoga postures, while palming and thumbing along the body’s energy lines and pressure points. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.  Thai Yoga Massage is performed on a mat on the floor; both client and practitioner are dressed in comfortable clothing allowing ease of movement and flexibility.

Paraffin Wax Treatment – A treatment especially welcome in winter, the wax application to hands, feet, and joints of the body. Add this element of self-care to any massage.

Reflexology – A healing art based on the principle that there are reflex points on the hands and feet which correspond to every part, gland and organ of the body.  When pressure is put on these reflex points, it relieves tension, improves circulation and help promote the natural function of the related areas of the body.

Usui Reiki and Sufi Healing – Alternative healing modalities that bring a sense of peace, calm and ease to the body and mind through the use of guided energy movement and intention.

Private Yoga

Many of our Teachers at PranaShanti are available for Private Yoga classes. Let us know who you would like to study with and we will arrange the class for you.

Advanced Level – Receive focused attention and a practice plan so you can achieve more complex yoga postures (asanas) such as arm balancing, inversions, binding as well as advanced breath techniques (pranayam) and longer meditations.

Beginner/Intermediate Level – Experience the seasoned knowledge of a yoga teacher and have all your questions answered in a private class devoted to learning the basics of yoga postures (asanas), breath techniques (pranayam) and meditation. These sessions are ideal for students new to yoga or those who would like to learn how to modify their practice for drop-in classes due to injury or other mobility issues.

Small Group Classes – Introduce a group of friends, colleagues or teammates to the benefits of yoga. Incorporate a yoga class into the festivities of a special occasion, including running groups, birthday parties, wedding parties and baby showers.

Integrative Yoga Therapy – IYT is an experiential process drawing together a variety of powerful yogic techniques to cultivate wellness at all levels of being. Tailored to your needs, Yoga Therapists serve as guides along a journey of self-discovery and healing.

You can expect compassionate listening and confidential support and appropriate resources to develop and maintain a home practice. We recommend a commitment of 3 sessions, as the first will be exploratory and conversational, and subsequent sessions will focus on integrating practice. Yoga of the Heart – If you are recovering from, or are at risk of heart disease, or are undergoing treatment for cancer, these sessions can help to rebuild your confidence, maintain a positive attitude, and increase your feelings of well-being. The treatments are based upon the Yoga of the Heart Certification training and each session is tailored to the individuals’ own needs.

Studying the symbolism of numbers significant to your life can determine a person’s personality, strengths and talents, obstacles, inner needs, emotional reactions, and socialization habits.

When you book an appointment, a free 30-minute consultation is added to your first session! A short Intake Form will be provided in advance. It is often beneficial to commit for 3 sessions to determine what works best as you integrate new ways of being and connecting.
