Respect for Community
Shoes
To minimise outdoor weather from traveling into the Centre, please remove your shoes when you enter the Centre and store them in the cloak room area. You are welcome to bring and wear indoor shoes, sandals or flip flops.
Electronics
In order to maintain a peaceful relaxing and healing environment for everyone, please turn off cell phone and smartphone ringers and refrain from speaking on and using electronics in the studio rooms.
Scent-Free
Due to health concerns arising from exposure to scented products, PranaShanti is committed to providing a fragrance-free environment. Please be mindful of using any perfumes, creams or cleaning products that may be scented.
Wellness Appointment Bookings and Cancellation Policy
Your appointment is not scheduled until you receive a confirmation via e-mail or telephone. Online appointment bookings made outside of our business hours will be confirmed when the Centre re-opens. If you would like to book and confirm your appointment more quickly please call us 613-761-9642 (YOGA).
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for Wellness Appointment cancellations or FULL FEE APPLIES.
Class Cancellation Policy
All single Classes, Class Packages and Class/Workshop Series are NON TRANSFERABLE and NON REFUNDABLE.
We know life has its ups and downs and can change. You can suspend our One Month Unlimited, Annual Unlimited and Auto-Renew Packages for up to a maximum of six weeks per year. Please inform the Reception Desk and we will adjust your profile. Sometimes events take us away from yoga, now you know it is waiting here for you.
Class Series (i.e. Yoga 101, Yoga 201, Prenatal Yoga Series) expire on the last day of the series. Unused series (due to student absence) are NOT available for future use and are NOT available for refund or transfer to another student. When signing up for a series, check the dates to ensure you can attend the full series. Many of our series have the option to attend with a single visit fee.
Monthly Unlimited Auto-Renew Policy
This package is a minimum 4 month initial commitment with monthly automatic billing every 30 days. As stated in the terms of the agreement 30 days written notification is required to pause or cancel the auto-renew. If cancellation notification is not given the monthly automatic billing continues.
Drop In Class Cancellation Policy
As we are offering limited spots for In Person attendance, we now require students to cancel reservations they cannot attend more than 12 hours before the start of class to allow another student the opportunity to attend. Late cancellations or no-shows will be deducted from your Class Package or charged a late fee of $33.00 for Auto-Renews and Annual Memberships.
Drop In Wait-list Policy
If it’s outside of the 12 hour cancellation window and you’re next on the wait-list, you’ll be added to class automatically if someone cancels. Once you’re added, our new cancellation policy applies.
Workshop Cancellation Policy
All Workshop purchases are FINAL. NO REFUNDS will be provided for these cancellations. However, a credit to your PranaShanti account is available up until five (5) days before the start date or you may arrange for an alternate person to attend in your place. No credits will be provided after that time.
For example, if the event starts on February 6, a credit is available until February 1. No credit will be available after February 1.
Master Class and Training Cancellation Policy
Refunds, minus a $500.00 + HST Administration Fee, are available up until five (5) days before the starting date for 200 and 200+ Hour Teacher Training Programs. No refunds or credits will be provided after that time.
For all other trainings and Master Classes, refunds minus an Administration Fee equivalent to 25% of the fees paid are available up until five (5) days before the start date or you can arrange for another person to take your place. No refunds or credits will be provided after that time.
Boutique Return and Replacement Policy
Boutique items can be returned for a PranaShanti credit within 30 days of purchase with the receipt and must be in original condition and packaging. All sale items are final sale. Gift Cards and Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash.
If you have received a defective product please notify us within 30 days via email to info@PranaShanti.com or by telephone 613-761-9642(YOGA) to request a replacement. Please provide the following information when requesting a replacement: invoice number, invoice date, your name as it appears on the invoice.
Please note that all items must be in original condition with all packing material and documentation. Please include a photocopy of your original invoice and send your package via a delivery service that provides tracking information. All shipping and handling must be prepaid by the customer.
Currency of Purchases
All purchases at PranaShanti are processed in Canadian funds.
Sales Tax
PranaShanti is based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and orders shipped within the province of Ontario will be taxed with the 13% Harmonised Sales Tax (HST) as applicable. Customers placing international orders are responsible for all duties and taxes incurred.
Shipping Policy
PranaShanti will ship your product to you by the most suitable method at the time of shipping. Estimated shipping charges are automatically calculated for you when placing an order. The total shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight of the order. For shipping within Canada, allow 7 to 10 business days and for outside of Canada, allow 10 to 20 business days for delivery.
