Ottawa Yoga Teacher
Nirlep Kaur took her first Kundalini yoga class in 2010 and started right away to experience amazing healing benefits.
So far she has completed the Level I Teacher Training and three modules for the Level II – Vitality and Stress, with Mahan Rishi Singh and Nirbhe Kaur, Conscious Communication, with Nirvair Singh and Devinder Kaur, and Mind and Meditation, with GuruMeher Singh Khalsa.
Her classes are a carefully studied blend of physical exercise, relaxation with the gong and lots of chanting, often experimenting with the most fun, original and demanding kriyas (sets of exercises) and meditations. Being a translator, she also likes to explain the meaning of the Gurmukhi words chanted in class.
Nirlep Kaur, whose spiritual name means Without Attachment, wants to help students heal, overcome obstacles and realize their full potential through this beautiful and transformative yoga style.
“There are seven steps to happiness: You commit, you get character, and from that you gain dignity; when you have self-dignity, you’re radiant; you will become rich with opportunities; and after that you go another step. From that dignity, you get divinity. Then from that divinity, you have grace. Grace brings you happiness, sources, opportunities, and understanding.”
