Jill loves to share yoga for the same reason she fell in love with the practice: to heal, to feel joy, and to live and feel fully alive and liberated.
Jill’s yoga classes are taught as a sequence of movements to open or release different areas of the body, which ultimately correspond to different mental and emotional states of being. She interprets the body as an energetic vessel that requires movement, breath, compassion and awareness. Each class is led as a full journey from beginning to end, whether it’s purpose is working with the fluidity and passion of the water element, or opening and freeing the heart of the air element. Her classes are strong in nature and filled with creative expression.
Jill completed her 200 hour teacher training through triyoga in London, UK with teachers Jane Kersel and Kate Ellis. Over the year and half program she dove deep into the asana, philosophy, anatomy, meditation and pranayama elements of the yoga tradition, fusing her vinyasa flow practice with foundational alignment principles and tantric yoga philosophy. Since then she has studied vinyasa flow with Seane Corn, Forrest Yoga with Ana Forrest and practiced different styles of yoga including Anusara, Iyengar and Ashtanga. She is currently completing her 500-hour Prana Flow teacher training with Shiva Rea. Jill teaches vinyasa flow, hatha yoga, pre and post-natal, corporate yoga, and leads yoga retreats around the world.
