While attending college at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Jill discovered yoga as a means to exercise and relieve stress. She quickly found herself practicing every day, deepening her yoga practice and benefiting from the physical, emotional and eventually spiritual aspects of the practice. After graduating, she started working with a real estate firm in Chicago and has since lived in Frankfurt, London, Quebec City and Washington DC, all the while studying and teaching yoga. She is now teaching yoga in studios and for corporations in Ottawa and Washington DC. She leads yoga retreats around the world and offers yoga coaching for clients locally and via skype or travel.

Jill completed her 200-hr yoga teacher training at triyoga in London, UK led by her teachers Jane Kersel and Kate Ellis. Jill has also completed triyoga’s 48-hour prenatal yoga teacher training, guided by Nadia Narain. She has studied with US teachers such as Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, and Ana Forrest and UK teachers including Bridget Woods-Kramer, Anna Ashby, and Rebecca Parker.

The classes Jill teaches infuses her vinyasa-based practice with strength and the precision of alignment to offer a strong, fluid, and self-serving practice. Jill teaches vinyasa flow, hatha yoga, hot yoga, prenatal yoga, and yin yoga. She also specializes in teaching yoga and meditation to corporations through on-going instruction and her 3-week intensive program, Yoga for Creativity and Growth.
