In 2007, in search of a sense of peace and balance and a break from a hectic daily life, and the pressures of University studies, Harsimranpreet Kaur began her journey in Kundalini Yoga. It was during her first class, in a downtown Toronto YMCA, where she first experienced a deep & profound sense of inner awakening and healing.
She quickly gained an interest and an appreciation for the teachings and became a dedicated and disciplined student; moving her practice to the, Guru Ram Das Ashram, also in Toronto, where she had the great privilege to study with a variety of senior teachers on a daily basis. Looking again to deepen her experience with Kundalini Yoga, Harsimranpreet Kaur has traveled to Lake Wales, Florida, to be apart of a 3HO Winter Solstice Celebration.
Although her desire to share the teaching of Kundalini Yoga was always present, it was not until 2011 when Harsimranpreet Kaur began the KRI Level One Teacher Training at PranaShanti Yoga Center and her graduation in 2012 that she was able to fulfill her dream of helping others to discover the increased sense of clarity, vitality, peace and joy that the practice of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation facilitates. She is humbled and honoured to share the gifts of this ancient sacred healing technology.
Since completing KRI Level One, Harsimranpreet Kaur has continued training in Kundalini Yoga, beginning the journey into Level Two and is looking forward to furthering her studies of the teaching and techniques through trainings and practice. Her name Harsimranpreet Kaur translates to the one who is kind, loving, creative, victorious, and who remembers the greatness of this Universe with her every breath. You can expect to feel centered, uplifted, and elevated after enjoying a class with Harsimranpreet Kaur.
