Carrie’s life-long exploration of classical Pilates, West African and Afro-Cuban dance, Middle Eastern Dance, Hip Hop, Salsa and Jazz, Brazilian Capoeira and a wide range of yoga styles has provided the foundation from which she has built a movement therapy practice.

Integrating training in rhythm patterns, floor work, barre work and standing work with her personal experience of chronic pain, body trauma and recovery, she focuses on building strength from the inside out. With the help of music, her light-hearted approach to toning and opening the body encourages people to tune in with their own ways of releasing tension, pain and energy with a focus on positivity, curiosity and wonder.

Her students love that Carrie’s classes are always different, physically challenging and infused with humor. Carrie loves to move and to get folks moving.
