    Come join us for a fun-filled week of Yoga Summer Camp!
     
    With an equal balance of play and rest, kids will learn how to slow down, breathe, and feel joyful! The children will gain a better awareness of their bodies and minds through yoga poses which focus on balance, strength and acceptance and mindfulness activities that teach self-awareness.
     
    They will also make great friends and have fun creating and expressing though daily arts and crafts, playful imagination, songs and yoga games! Kids will experience the benefits of yoga and mindfulness in a positive and non-competitive atmosphere.

    Activities include:
    • Fun daily yoga and mindfulness practice
    • Group Yoga games
    • Expression through arts & crafts Stories and songs Partner yoga poses

    What we will learn:
    • Yoga poses (asanas)
    • Simple, yet affective mindfulness/breathing techniques Relaxation and guided visualizations.
    • How to slow down and find calmness within!
    • Connection, self-discovery, acceptance, trust Identification of emotions/regulation
    • Healthy food and lifestyle choices l…. and so much more along the way!
     
    No previous yoga experience is necessary!

    Meditating at the time of the New Moon intensifies our intentions and makes it an ideal time to focus on prosperity (personal and business) and abundance using the energy of the New Moon combined with Kundalini Yoga kriyas and meditations. Prosperity and abundance come in many forms. 
     
    When one’s internal attitude is out of alignment, it doesn’t matter what that person has or doesn’t have in the material world.  When we connect with an internal attitude of prosperity, we become like a magnet. The abundance of the universe flows to us.
     
    Our class includes breath work (pranayam), a short yoga set (kriya) for awareness, a prosperity meditation followed by a deep relaxation (savasana) in the celestial sounds and vibrations of two Gongs.

    Workshop - In Your Own Voice - Learn to sing from your heart with Mantranima

    Mantranima is a kirtan band from Barcelona, Spain, that mixes ambient vocals and devotional music with a touch of Mediterranean soul. Their debut album, The Barcelona Kirtan Project, was released last fall.
     
    In this workshop, Marc Cinanni and Esther Pallejà bring participants on a journey through sound and music to increase awareness and connection with their body, their self, and especially, their voice.
     
    The session leads up to participants singing to some of Mantranima’s live music.
     
    All are welcome, whether it’s your first time singing or already a daily practice. Marc & Esther will guide on how to use your true voice from a more confident space.
     
    Cost: $45.00 per person. Iced tea and refreshing snacks included to enjoy after the event.

    About Mantranima:
     

    "Sit with us, sing with us, see if we can make our hearts explode.”
     
    Devotional chanting is what brought Marc and Esther together when they first met at a meditation course in Barcelona. “Who’s that deep voice?,” thought Esther. “Who’s that generous soul?,” thought Marc. And through their voices, out came their hearts, which recognized each other and restarted their journey. Soon after, they began to expand their chanting space beyond their inner circle, and Mantranima was born.

    Described as “mantras with a Mediterranean touch,” their songs create a space where people can go inside and experience life a little deeper. A project rooted in love, has now become an invitation to love.

    The full moon is a special time, especially for those who are following a yogic path, because it is an optimum time for clearing and balancing our mind and our energy.

    The moon is deeply and intimately connected with our mind and our thoughts. Meditation can help to cleanse feelings of agitation, and can even provide us with a great opportunity to let go of the mental or emotional baggage that has been weighing us down.

    Meditating at the full moon also help us to unleash our creativity, whether we are focused on specific creative projects or we need new ways of thinking about the problems and issues we are facing. This practice can help us to release old, stuck, energy that no longer serves us.

    During the class, we will clear our mind and balance our body’s chakras (energy centers) through a variety of Kundalini Yoga practices including breath work (pranayam), meditation, visualization, setting intentions, and a restorative sound bath with the symphonic Gong.
