    The 2 hour classes of Yoga 301 will help to develop these qualities while practicing in a meditative environment.
     
    This program will delve into the 12 basic asanas of Sivananda yoga as well as advanced variations.
     
    It is designed for regularly practicing yogis who are looking for to further their understanding of asana and pranayama, and of course, themselves.

    Join Victoria this fall for 3 different, creative and fun-filled yoga classes!
     
    With an equal balance of play and rest, kids will learn how to slow down, breathe, and feel joyful! They will gain a better awareness of their bodies through yoga poses which focus on balance, strength and acceptance. Children will be invited to participate in yoga games, yoga songs, and yoga stories!
     
    These classes are offered on Saturdays once per month. Write them into your calendars!

    Ages 4-9 years old.
     
    Learn the “12 Days of Christmas” – kids yoga style! Can you keep up?! A heart centered craft included.

    Cost: $12.00 per child. Registration and payment in advanced is required.

    The full moon is a special time, especially for those who are following a yogic path, because it is an optimum time for clearing and balancing our mind and our energy.

    The moon is deeply and intimately connected with our mind and our thoughts. Meditation can help to cleanse feelings of agitation, and can even provide us with a great opportunity to let go of the mental or emotional baggage that has been weighing us down.

    Meditating at the full moon also help us to unleash our creativity, whether we are focused on specific creative projects or we need new ways of thinking about the problems and issues we are facing. This practice can help us to release old, stuck, energy that no longer serves us.

    During the class, we will clear our mind and balance our body’s chakras (energy centers) through a variety of Kundalini Yoga practices including breath work (pranayam), meditation, visualization, setting intentions, and a restorative sound bath with the symphonic Gong.

    To celebrate this sacred time we will gather in candlelight to create a personal and group intention to awaken to our unlimited potential.
     
    Sound and music by the talented band from Barcelona, Spain, Mantranima, will enhance our sacred experience as we are guided through our uplifting evening.

    As December concludes, we pause for reflection on all that the calendar year brought to our lives. It's the perfect time to nourish the body and spirit with quiet, contemplative yoga. Digest all those experiences with a quiet, healing practice.
     
    This 2 hour class will be a mélange of gentle yoga and yoga nidra - a specific approach to guided meditation known for its powerful techniques for self-inquiry and healing.
     
    You’ll be guided through movement to distribute energy and prana throughout your body, so that through the medicine of subtraction, you will feel the ebb and flow of your nourished spirit ready to move forward into 2019.
