  • A Spiritual Badass’ Path to Forgiveness
    X

A Spiritual Badass’ Path to Forgiveness

    Friday, October 4th, 6:00pm - 9:00pm
A Spiritual Badass’ Path to Forgiveness

Forgiveness, the act of Forgiving, the process of letting go, frees us from our past experiences. When our arms are full carrying around our past, we can’t receive, we can’t embrace all the goodness, the deliciousness that life has to offer you. When we Forgive, we create space in our lives for the things we want, the things we’ve been waiting for, it creates the opportunity for the unimaginable to be imagined.

In our weekend together, we will explore Forgiveness- what it means to authentically Forgive, different methods and popular beliefs, how we can begin to Forgive and how it enables us to flourish.

Participants will choose one issue, person, theme, experience that they wish to forgive and together we will begin to walk A Badass’ Path to Forgiveness through Journeys, similar to Guided Meditation, Yoga, and Plant Medicine (Essential Oils). Our Journey begins with a look into our Consciousness to visit the landscape that represents how you view Forgiveness, your relationship with it, then we heal it , enabling an Authentic letting go. We will then cut energetic cords with whatever it is you have chosen to Forgive, this includes a person, place, experience, etc.

This will be followed by a Gathering, a very powerful Journey where we gain insight as to how this experience shifted us, how it changed us from our true self- then we heal it, learn from it, collect its Medicines and pieces of ourselves that we feel we lost.

Following the Gathering is a Power Retrival! A kick ass way to call your power back, from all the places you sent it, creating Badass -ownership leading to personal Empowerment.

We will then learn the Blessing Ceremony and other powerful techniques to use on your Badass Path to Forgiveness.

Closing our weekend together with an Awakening of our Hearts, a truly beautiful experience. Each day will end with a gentle yoga practice with Essential Oils to help us integrate our healing.

If you’ve been struggling to Forgive someone, yourself, or something, please join us for this transformative weekend of laughter, healing, learning, and Forgiveness. Each participant will receive a Badass Essential Oil Blend and healing waters bath soak to help integrate and enhance the experience.

Workshop - The Power of 10-10-10

    Thursday, October 10th, 5:45pm - 7:15pm
Workshop - The Power of 10-10-10

Triple “10” energy is available to us on October 10, 2019!

According to numerology the 10/10 combination offers an energetic opening that links us with the qualities of leadership, independence, individuality, creativity, and pioneering spirit.

The gift number of 2019 is also a 10 (1+9= 10) and says “Go for it, now’s your time!” But with this powerful configuration it will take courage and initiation for optimal results. Number 10 is the archetype of the warrior, and sometimes in life we must take a stand and fight for what is right or needed.

Adding to the significance of the date, this year is a 3 Year (2+0+1+9=12= 3). 3 is the Fire Element, and this will be influencing our behavior. Communication can become quite heated and 3 doesn’t hold back once it gets going!

Our practice will include yoga, meditation and deep relaxation with Gong so we can pass through the ring of zero with courage and wholeness so we can be our natural radiant self.

Full Moon Meditation for Clearing & Balance

    Tuesday, October 15th, 5:45pm - 7:15pm
Full Moon Meditation for Clearing & Balance

The full moon is a special time, especially for those who are following a yogic path, because it is an optimum time for clearing and balancing our mind and our energy.

The moon is deeply and intimately connected with our mind and our thoughts. Meditation can help to cleanse feelings of agitation, and can even provide us with a great opportunity to let go of the mental or emotional baggage that has been weighing us down.

Meditating at the full moon also help us to unleash our creativity, whether we are focused on specific creative projects or we need new ways of thinking about the problems and issues we are facing. This practice can help us to release old, stuck, energy that no longer serves us.

During the class, we will clear our mind and balance our body’s chakras (energy centers) through a variety of Kundalini Yoga practices including breath work (pranayam), meditation, visualization, setting intentions, and a restorative sound bath with the symphonic Gong.

Crystal Journey in Concert with David Hickey

    Friday, October 25th, 7:30pm - 9:30pm
Crystal Journey in Concert with David Hickey

Featuring Paiste Gongs, Quartz Singing Bowls, Persian and Indian Santoor

What You Can Expect From Crystal Journey:

The show will take place in two 40 to 50 minute sets. David's usual set up includes 6 Quartz Crystal Bowls, 8-10 Paiste Planet Gongs & 2 Santoor's. Nothing is amplified, pre-recorded or rehearsed. Each set and performance is sonically pure and unique.

We invite you to take a seat or lay down as close to the instruments as possible to get the greatest effect. Remember to bring a yoga mat, blanket and/or pillow as we will have floor space to lay down. Chairs for regular seating are also available.

Where possible we encourage you to share rides and car pool. It not only saves gas but helps to reduce our carbon foot print on the earth and traffic.

    About The Instruments:

Paiste Gongs: Planet Gongs are tuned to the natural harmonic series based on the orbital properties of the Earth, Moon, Sun, and Planets. All of these gongs resonate in harmony with the celestial bodies and communicate a distinct aspect of the Music of the Spheres, which was first documented by Pythagoras in the 6th Century BC. Each planet gong contributes a vital pitch to the total harmonic resonance of our solar system.

Crystal Bowls: The bowls are made of 99.992% crushed quartz crystal that is heated to 4000 degrees in a centrifugal mold. The thickness of the bowl determines the note, digitally tuned to C D E F G A and B corresponding to the charkas, our energy centers; root (C), sacral (D), solar plexus (E), heart (F), throat (G), third eye (A), and crown (B). The diameter of the bowl determines the pitch, ranging from 6 inches to 22 inches. The archetype of the instrument may be seen in a harp, carried horizontally and struck with two sticks, found in iconographical documents of the ancient Babylonian (1600-911 BCE) and neo-Assyrian (911-612 BCE) eras.

Persian Santoor: Persian Santoor consists of a trapeziform case made of walnut wood, approximately 90 cm wide at the broad end, 36 cm wide at the narrow end and 6 cm deep. The strings are fixed to hitch-pins along the left-hand side and wound round metal wrest-pins on the right by means of which they are tuned with a tuning-key (Tuning Wrench). Each quadruple set of strings rests on a movable bridge of hardwood (kharak). The bridges are placed so that the strings are divided into three sections, giving the fundamental note and two higher octaves. There are nine (or sometimes 10, 11 and 12) quadruple strings an either side so that, with 18 groups of strings, 27 different notes can be played. The bass strings are of brass or copper and the trebles of steel. Persian Santoor is played by striking the strings with two light hammers (mezrab) held in three fingers of each hand. The ends of the sticks are usually covered with cloth to soften their impact on the strings.

    Cost: $30.00 per person.

David's CDs and other merchandise will be available at the show. To learn more about David's extraordinary sound concerts please visit his website: http://crystaljourney.ca/

"Prosperity is a state produced immediately by the mind. When the sun comes out of the clouds, everything is lit. When the mind comes out of duality, prosperity is there."- Yogi Bhajan

Meditating at the time of the New Moon intensifies our intentions and makes it an ideal time to focus on prosperity (personal and business) and abundance using the energy of the New Moon combined with Kundalini Yoga kriyas and meditations. Prosperity and abundance come in many forms.

When one’s internal attitude is out of alignment, it doesn’t matter what that person has or doesn’t have in the material world.  When we connect with an internal attitude of prosperity, we become like a magnet. The abundance of the universe flows to us.

Our class includes breath work (pranayam), a short yoga set (kriya) for awareness, a prosperity meditation followed by a deep relaxation (savasana) in the celestial sounds and vibrations of two Gongs.

Cost: PranaShanti Class Card or Drop-in Fee.
